Just a note I guess. Facebook got awkward and myspace is...well...myspace. BUT HERE, I can ship slash to my hearts content and no one knows who on earth I am! (well, minus those of you who do) So, being the closet shipper of some very adorable OTP's, I have redirected my gaze to LJ and am realizing I should have done this sooner. Honey, Im home!

Yeah, i can fly
We just had the most WICKED thunderstorm! Now, portland is kind of known for being rainy, but we just went a bunch of weeks with 100 degree weather with NO RAIN whatsoever. I personally was kind of ticked, because i freakin MOVED here for the rain, only to find it chainging on me! But after several weeks of evil sunshine, the heatwave broke adn we had a huge downpour. Atfirst i thought there was some sort of earthquake going on, then i thought i was some sort of 10 car pile up....then i looked outside and saw the 10 MINUTES WORTH of lightning followed by one of the loudest rainfalls ive ever witnessed.

I ROCKED TO SAY THE LEAST.

And now, I link you to my deviantart page, because im trying to figure out how to do those nifty links with your own sayings in them. are you ready?!

Yeah, i can fly
I cant think strait. But then again I usually never do, which is strangely fitting what with my BEYOND AWEOSME AND EXTREEMLY COOL 'catch me if you can' icony-avatar thing. So, I’m sitting here right now, doin the whole First Post thing, and I’ve got a very heavy craving for grilled cheese. AAAHHH, the sandwich of awesomeness. Its...its like TOAST!!! (which in itself is one of my 3 favorite foods of all time) but then, to have grilled cheese. its like toast...BUT WITH MORE DAIRY! (another of my favorite foods. And yes, dairy in general counts as a food.) in honor of this craving, I propose a fluffy Gundam-wing a/c fan fiction, written solely (sp?) on impulse with no editing done what so ever.....just gimmi a second.

ALRIGHT! so I made my grilled cheese. and now, I write fluff in honor of said sandwich. (and the Moofy who got me a LJ finally ^_^ ) AND SO IT BEGINS!!!

~ A GLIMPS OF HEAVEN ~

"So tell me again why we decided to move here..." Duo began casually to the back of a blond head, "And didn’t leave this horrible thing in the dumpster when we did?" Setting the last moving box down next to their new kitchen table, Duo motioned to the horrible green couch dumped half heartedly into the center of their equally new living room.

The blond head broke its starring contest with the world outside their also new window to swivel around and smile. "We cant give it away now." Quatre made his way over to couch (it really was horrible) and ran his hands along rather bright moss green fabric. "It's survived all three of our moves! We couldn’t just leave it back on campus..."

"We could have, and should have, but you’re not telling me why we didn’t!" Duo whined, flicking a brown braid over his shoulder as he straitened and stretched. The move had been a long one.

"It would have gotten Lonely!" was Quatre’s only explanation, hugging a cushion like the old friend he thought it to be.

Despite his supposed hatred of their pet couch, (yes pet, because it followed them EVERYWHERE) duo sprung over the back to flop safely on the other side.

"Better give it some attention then!" He smirked, and took up as much room as he possibly could.

"We really lucked out though!" Quatre continued, moving back to the full length sliding windows which lead out to their high but humble balcony. (Which was also new, mind you.) "You'd be surprised how many rare song birds you can find, right in this very park!" he pointed to the sloping green hill which stuck out strangely against the metropolis surroundings. Who knew trees actually grew in New York!

Duo shrugged with little interest. "Find me a bird that sings Aerosmith, and then you can have my attention. Until then-"

He was cut off but the jerk of Quatre's head, and watched as a thought occurred to his once-again room mate before he sped to shuffle through several boxes strewn across their kitchen floor.

"Hahaha!" he laughed triumphantly, pulling out a small brown box and lifting from it a pair of binoculars. "Wufei gave these to me as a going-away-again present, i completely forgot." The blond smiled happily as he slid the glass doors open, sounds of the city immediately flooding the apartment on a cool breeze. "You have to check these out!"

Rolling (literally) off the couch, duo sprung up to inquire as to his best friends squeals of happiness. "Lemmy see em'" he asked, surprised when Quatre handed them right over. The rims felt cool against his cheeks, bringing them up to stare at the trees directly across. The lenses were so strong, it took him a moment to find where exactly he was looking at before re-adjusting the focus.

"Kat, these are great!" He laughed, turning in each direction, his gaze eventually drifting upwards along the beautiful building beside them. it wasn’t new (like their own), but the architecture was unique enough to make up for it. His hand froze itself when the lenses finally drifted across a lone image perched against the second highest balcony, and god knows it was anything but a bird.

Yes, if THAT was a bird, then Duo would curse his mother for not being a dove, because holy SHIT this kid was sex on two legs. The young man sat, leaning shirtless against his balcony, letting the swift city winds dry unruly chocolate brown hair. The binoculars were so good, he could make out the glossy water clinging to the boys form as if to say, "We're very happy where we are and have no intention of leaving Thankyouverymuch."

duo could all but agree. But before he knew it, there was a flash of blue...bright cobalt blue, and the young mans eyes were looking directly at him, calculating as if he had a looking glass of his own. And even when caught in the act, all duo could do was stand and smile, removing the glasses to find the spot on his own.

"They've got some strong lenses huh?" Quatre commented, paying more attention to the scenery before them, rather than above.

"Yeah..." Was all duo could mumble out, bringing the glass back up in time to watch the boy smirk almost satisfactorily before returning to his apartment. "You can see strait to heaven with these."

~ END ~

alright, so bird/heero watching and grilled cheese dont have anything to do with each other, but come on, does it really matter? no. no it doesnt. ^_^
